Qubool Hai 2.0: Karan Singh Grover, Surbhi Jyoti shine in this refreshing tale of Asad and Zoya

With a refreshing spin on the lives of the protagonists, Qubool Hai 2.0 sees Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti in the lead with others from the cast like Mandira Bedi, Lillete Dubey, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Vaquar Shaikh among others. After having watched the first five episodes of the show, I can pleasantly say that it has managed to bring back many old memories of the show but with a wave of freshness to it.

As Zoya and Asad reunite in a parallel universe, this time, they are not just from different worlds, but different countries, and that counts for a bigger issue when it is India and Pakistan. A lot of the intricacies about the show may not seem to fall in place, however, it is the bigger things that make a great spectacle for the viewers. For someone who has watched the original, I am thoroughly pleased with what the 2.0 version has to offer.

While not a lot can be spoken about the story as it may give away spoilers but on the face of it, it is the story of how Asad just never leave Zoya's side with everything that comes in their way. Together, they have managed to come a long way but through the 10 episodes of the show, what we now want to know is how far will they go.

For the longest time, we know that this is the same Asad and Zoya that we once knew, the one that fans love, and it is beautiful how everything has a refreshing take to it and yet, it remains the same. Karan brings on his charm to the screens with double the power and his calm demeanor as opposed to Zoya's bubbly and chirpy nature seems to fit perfectly all over again. Both of them deserve credit for not diluting their characters and letting their acting speak for itself. The supporting cast of Qubool Hai 2.0 too, does an absolutely great job and fans are in awe if nothing.

Due credits to the creators for being able to keep up with the expectations and yet, adding so many layers of newness and freshness to the story. A plot that fits just about right in an alternate universe, we get bits of action, romance, and some candid moments that we can all enjoy. All in all, Qubool Hai 2.0 live up to the expectations and both the leads deliver what they have promised with the show.
