Kapil Sharma used to teach Surbhi Jyoti in college? Actress reveals interesting details from her college days

Surbhi Jyoti, known for her role in 'Qubool Hai,' recently discussed her life before and after success on our show, "Behind the Success." She shared memories of her early life in Chandigarh and her theater beginnings. During the interview, Surbhi revealed that she was once taught acting by comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, sharing a heartwarming anecdote about learning from him.

Surbhi Jyoti in a conversation with Pinkvilla, shared a memory of Kapil Sharma visiting their university to teach. She also mentioned that Bharti Singh was her senior.

She shared, "Kapil and Bharti used to be our seniors. Kapil was our super senior who had passed out. But of course, since he was a senior, we called him 'sir.' He wasn't much older than us, but we used to call them 'sir.' He used to come to teach us skits and plays because he himself also used to do a lot of theatre."

Surbhi revealed that Kapil met his wife, Ginni Chatrath, during this period, adding that Ginni was also involved in theatre with her, which is where they met.

Surbhi noted that Kapil Sharma and Bharti Singh both hailed from Amritsar, attending the same university, while she and Ginni were college mates. Although she admitted to not being very active socially, she stays in touch with everyone.

Professionally, Surbhi Jyoti has been a part of several popular shows, including "Qubool Hai" and "Naagin 3."
