Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 12: Allu Arjun movie drops on its second Monday after beating Stree 2, Gadar 2

Pushpa 2 has made Rs 1,409 crores globally in 11 days, which is record-breaking to say the least. It is the fastest Indian movie to do so in little over a week. In the past ten days, a number of records have come tumbling in front of the Box office tornado which is Pushpa 2: The Rule. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil’s actioner has made Rs 902 crores net in India. Talking about the second weekend, the numbers were higher than that of Stree 2 and Gadar 2 on their second weekend. Like the two movies, Pushpa 2 served entertainment big time.

Pushpa 2 has done really well in the interiors of the country. States like Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh has been huge demand for the movie with exhibitors increasing the number of shows. It was bought for Rs 200 crore for North India by Anil Thadani. He had immense confidence in the film and the returns have been huge for him. The non-theatrical business of Pushpa 2 is already more than Rs 1,000 crore if reports are to be believed. Pushpa 2 is at the top when it comes to overseas collections of Indian movies in 2024.

Allu Arjun will reportedly take 40 per cent of the earnings of the movie. Rashmika Mandanna too has been paid a bomb for the same. Pushpa 2 took more than two years in the making. There were many rumours of the rift between Allu Arjun and Sukumar and so on. However, the end product has turned out to be high on entertainment. Allu Arjun is the fire that has made cinema halls hoot all over India. The success of Pushpa 2 is a lesson to Bollywood to make massy masala movies.
