Priyanka Chhabra cast opposite Puneet Vashist in Shapath

Having established herself as a fine actress through shows like Shobha Somnath Ki on Zee TV and MTV Webbed, Priyanka Chhabra will now feature in an episodic of Shapath - Super Cops v/s Super Villains opposite ex-Bigg Boss contestant Puneet Vashist.

The characters of the story will be inspired by the ones essayed by Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene in the 90's blockbuster movie Dil Toh Pagal Hai.

When contacted Priyanka she averred, "I am very excited to be a part of this story as is it is a musical thriller where I play Maya, a fragment of the protagonist's imagination. In the episode, I will be seen grooving on the beats of 'Kamli' from the movie Dhoom 3 which is brilliantly choreographed. Along with that, I have shot for salsa number with Puneet Vashisht."
