Prabhjyot Singh recalls the darkest phase of his career says, "Post Udta Punjab, I did 5 projects but.."

Actor Prabhjyot Singh rose to fame with his spectacular performance in the 2016 film Udta Punjab, in which he played the prominent character of Balli Singh. The film was a complete hit among the audience, and it brought work for him, but there's a different side of the story to this. Prabhjyot recalls the darkest phase of his career when his projects weren't released and left him clueless about this industry.

Speaking about the dark time of his life, he says,"For me, things haven't gone smoothly from day one as an actor. Post Udta Punjab, I did 5 projects, but none of them got released. At that time, I was completely clueless and thought my life was just colourless. I didn’t know what to do with my career, and, on the other hand, my family started asking me to focus on my studies rather than acting because nothing was working in my favour here. It was really the darkest phase of my career where I didn't know what to do next."

Further revealing how he came out of the difficult time, he says, "Only I know how I have pulled myself up from that phase. I self-motivated myself and thought of giving acting a second chance. Slowly, things started getting better for me. But one thing I realised during the lower phase of my career is that you need to be patient and thick skin to go a long way in this ruthless world of showbiz."

Professionally, Prabhjyot Singh was last seen in the ZEE5 film, Atithi Bhooto Bhava. The actor has also been a part of the films Udta Punjab, Gold and Arjun Patiala. Apart from this, he has also been featured in various web series and short films.
