OMG 2 Teaser: Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva unleashes guiding light & unyielding faith at Pankaj Tripathi

The long-awaited teaser for the much-anticipated film OMG 2, starring Akshay Kumar, has finally been unveiled, marking the actor's return to the OMG franchise after 11 years since the release of OMG – Oh My God! In this installment, Akshay takes on the role of Lord Shiva, bringing a divine touch to the narrative. However, this time, alongside him, we have the talented Pankaj Tripathi playing a significant role, replacing Paresh Rawal. 

The OMG 2 teaser offers fans an exciting glimpse into the upcoming film, igniting anticipation among audiences. Akshay Kumar in the avatar of Lord Shiva is here to show a guiding light to Pankaj Tripathi who is fighting his own battles and tries to keep up his faith in the divine power. 

Building up to the teaser release, the makers of OMG 2 had previously teased fans with character posters of the star-studded cast. Yami Gautam's character will portray a lawyer, while Pankaj Tripathi's role centers around a firm belief in God. Additionally, a video showcasing Akshay Kumar's Lord Shiva look was shared by the actor himself, accompanied by the powerful chant of "Har Har Mahadev."

OMG 2 is scheduled for release in August, specifically on August 11. This announcement has set up a clash with Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 at the box office. Furthermore, OMG 2 will also face competition from Rajinikanth's highly-anticipated film, Jailer. Produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films and Viacom18 Studios, OMG 2 also features veteran actor Arun Govil, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Rama in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana, in the role of Lord Ram. This star-studded project promises to deliver an engaging cinematic experience, blending divinity, social commentary, and entertainment.
