Beginning their journey as an on-screen couple and eventually becoming life partners, Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt have now entered the Bigg Boss 17 house. They had an exclusive conversation with India Forums before commencing their journey. Here's what they had to say.
Firstly, please share your feelings before embarking on this journey. Are you more nervous or excited?
Neil: I believe I'm equally excited and nervous.
Aishwarya: Personally, I feel a bit more nervous than excited. Yes, excitement is there, but the nervousness is slightly more pronounced.
In previous seasons, some contestants have claimed that it's easier for couples to survive in the show since they have each other. What are your thoughts on this?
Neil: I believe it can work both ways. Going solo means not having to shoulder the responsibility of another person. So, I think it varies from one perspective to another. From our perspective, having both of us together is an advantage, but primarily for ourselves.
We've heard that some contestants are packing up to 200 outfits for the show. Viewers closely observe the style choices of contestants. How prepared are you to maintain your style game?
Aishwarya: I think your style is defined by your comfort in what you wear. People tend to notice your gameplay more than your style.
Neil: I think, after a certain point, the focus shifts more towards the game rather than anything else. Honestly, it's a matter of personal preference. I believe the game holds more significance than the clothing.
Up until now, viewers have adored you in your roles as Virat and Pakhi. This time, people will see the real you and form judgments based on that. Do you feel any pressure?
Aishwarya: People have already formed judgments about us based on our on-screen characters. I don't pay much attention to those judgments; I focus on my work.
Neil: I think if an actor is preoccupied with the idea that they'll be judged for XYZ reasons, it can be challenging. I believe one's work speaks for itself.
Are you eagerly anticipating Neil and Aishwarya's journey on the show?
