Nachle Ve back but not with Saroj Khan?

The NDTV Imagine dance show Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan might soon return with its second season. But according to sources,  the guru might be replaced. It is alleged that Saroj ji gave a lot of grief to the production house SOL. But when we contacted the dance maestro, she had a different story to tell. "I was troubled a lot by channel/production house. They were only asking me to teach wedding songs. This is not done as students need to learn other forms of dance as well e.g  Manipur, Kathak etc.  Plus this was reflecting badly onm e as well, as the  public might have started thinking that Master jee does not know more."

Saroj ji goes on. "The channel had initially approached me for 3 months, but they wanted to push it for 6 months and also make me a judge on one of their reality shows. All this extra work in the same money. Finally things reached a dead-end and they ended the show".

She accepted that she has been approached for the second season. " They wanted to start by August end, but they are not giving me any dates. I don't think I will be able to do it if this uncertainty continues. But if I do it this time I  will make sure that I clear all the numbers and dance styles' before signing on  the dotted line".

When told about the possibility of her not being there she said, "I have no issues for I will soon do another show which will cover all facets of dance". She however refused to give any more details on the same.

However  Fazila Allana  of SOL denies any chances of them replacing Saroj Khan. "Nachle Ve means Saroj Khan. We are in talks and have not penciled in any  time frame for a return".

We tried to contact Shailja Kejriwal EVP, Content, NDTV Imagine, but she was unavailable for comment.
