Actress Esha Deol, who has taken on the role of a judge on "MTV Roadies X2", says her father and Bollywood superstar Dharmendra is a "die-hard Punjabi", and so she chose to include a Sikh member in her team on the show.

Esha Deol poses for the media at the Press Conference of MTV Roadies X2Actress Esha Deol, who has taken on the role of a judge on "MTV Roadies X2", says her father and Bollywood superstar Dharmendra Singh Deol is a "die-hard Punjabi", and so she chose to include a Sikh member in her team on the show.

In the new season, every gang leader, including Esha, Karan Kundra, Vijender Singh and Rannvijay Singh, has five contestants in their team. When it was Esha's turn to select a final member in her team, she decided to select a Sikh boy named Rajatdeep Singh from Delhi, because she thinks she can work with him in a better way.

"My father is a die-hard Punjabi and I have been brought up in a typical Punjabi household. When I had to choose the last contestant for my team, I chose a Sikh person because I could relate to him, where he's coming from, his upbringing and knew that we would work well as a team.

"This was also the promise I made to my dad of choosing someone I could relate to in my gang," Esha said in a statement.

After the auditions got over last week, the 12th season of the show -- aired on MTV - will start its journey on Saturday.

Why do all the actors from Bollywood think that acting in the south movies won't help their career, why don't they see if the script is good and then decide rather than coming to a conclusion...So no matter how many flops Sonam has under her feather she still wants to have that attitude...don't get me wrong I have immense respect for all the actors, directors from South and North, but this kind of thinking has got to stop and especially where there are such a talented bunch from both industries( like AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam etc etc) And if I am right Anil Kapoor's first movies was either Telugu or Tamil...So what does she think she is above just because of her few movies(flops) in Bolllywood...Yeah well good luck lady.
