My attention is divided into rushing to the aid of people and then putting Fateh together: Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood left no stone unturned to help people during the pandemic last year. During the last two years the actor garnered headlines for all the social work he did through the pandemic. 

Sonu Sood got all his fans excited after he announced his brand new acting venture at the end of 2021. 

Titled Fateh, which is also produced by Sonu, has him playing the role of a man who comes to the rescue of people facing cyber frauds.

As soon as the actor unveiled the poster of the film, his fans bathed it with milk. Talking about this craze he witnessed, Sonu told a news portal, 

“It happened in Telangana and places close to Chennai. Well that’s how people show love and respect to actors there. It is a bit embarrassing, but I think they show love in a different way and I always feel humbled by their gesture.”

The actor says that it is a result of all the work he did through the pandemic – helping migrants reach home through the lockdown, arranging hospital rooms and oxygen cylinders to the needy patients – has led to all the love that is being showered upon him.

Talking about working on the project in times of the pandemic, Sood says, 

“We are back to dealing with the crisis and so my attention is divided into rushing to the aid of people (in the Omicron wave) and then putting Fateh together. It’s tough to be shooting in pandemic because if one unit member tests positive then the whole schedule goes for a toss. With more and more people getting vaccinated I hope it gets safer to shoot. We are in pre-production stage and plan to take the project on floor in March.”

On the work front, Sonu Sood will be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj
