Mukesh Khanna Takes a Dig at Sonakshi Sinha; Says Reruns of Mahabharat and Ramayan will help people like her!

Due to the current nationwide lockdown situation, the entire country is at halt and with the shoots being cancelled, the channels have decided to showcase the reruns of their favourite shows. Mahabharat, Ramayan and Shaktimaan amongst many other shows are once again back on the Television screens to keep the viewers entertained.

Talking about the re-run of these mythological shows, Ramayan and Mahabharat, Actor & Producer Mukesh Khanna mentioned that it will help a lot of people who haven’t watched the show earlier. “It will also help people like Sonakshi Sinha who have no knowledge about our mythological sagas. People like her don't know who did lord Hanuman get Sanjivani for”, he added.

He further added that today’s generation is too much exposed to other things like Saas Bahu Saga, Tiktok videos, western culture and are diverted from the Indian roots. They don’t have time or they don’t even bother to know about the history, spirituality or mythology. He said, “Now, the reruns will actually reboot their minds and will tell them that the things they have been watching in films, in saas-bahu sagas is not Indian culture. These shows will take them back to our roots.”
