Mr Lele likely to be Shelved? Varun-Shashank decide to Plan something New!

Recently, Varun Dhawan announced his collaboration with Shashank Khaitan for their upcoming title, Mr Lele. The film’s schedule has reportedly postponed and it was a mutual decision between them along with producer Karan Johar. 

Shashank took to his Social media handle and shared his official statement about the same. He reasoned about the postponing of the shoot and emphasized that they might he and Varun ‘will collaborate soon, either on Mr Lele itself or on something new.’ 

He wrote: "Hi guys, here is an update on Mr Lele. Karan, Varun and I have mutually decided to postpone the shooting of the film. It's a script we all love and I'm sure will revisit soon. But scheduling the film was turning out to be very tough, as the film has a solid ensemble cast and the dates were just not falling into place." 

His post prompts speculation that Mr Lele has been shelved, and they are now looking forward to a new project altogether. But they will surely collaborate.

"I'm very sure Varun and I will collaborate soon, either on Mr Lele itself or on something new, as collaborating with him has always been the most joyful and fulfilling experience in my life," read Shashank Khaitan's statement.

Varun even shared the first look of him from Mr Lele that stirred up the internet, as he described it as a non-stop entertainment.
