M. F. Husain's latest muse...

M. F. Husain, the 'Picasso of India', has chosen his next muse and she is none other than our rising starlet, Anushka Sharma. The 'Punjab Ki Kudi', as he fondly refers to her, will now join the illustrious ranks of Madhuri Dixit, Tabu, Amrita Rao and Vidya Balan.

 

Sources say that after watching Anushka's much heralded film Band Baaja Baaraat a staggering number of eight times, Husain has become bewitched by the lovely lass. The artist has apparently showered her with praises and now wishes to make a painting with her. And that's not all! They say the artist also wants to invite her to Qatar so they can meet.

 

 

As most know, after being impressed by his earlier muses, Hussain has gone on with his inspirations and made films with them: Gaja Gamini with Madhuri Dixit and Meenaxi-A Tale of Two Cities with Tabu. However, a film with Amrita Rao could not take place. It was also reported last year that the artist had developed an obsession with Vidya Balan after watching her tremendous performance in Ishqiya and was considering crafting a film with her in the near future. But to date nothing as yet has materialized.
