Divya Dutta, known for her strong acting skills and thoughtful roles, recently spoke openly about her single life and her views on marriage. In a recent interview with Hindi Rush she shared how she has found happiness and peace without being in a relationship, and why she believes marriage isn’t the only way to feel complete.

Speaking about the idea of marriage, Divya says, "If you find a good partner, it's great to be married. If not, I think life moves on beautifully. Kitni saari dysfunctional shaadiyan bhi hoti hai, unme rehne se acha hai aap khudko nurture kare, bajaay iske ke aap neeche girte jaaye ek rishte mein."

Divya also mentioned that she gets a lot of attention from men. "Acha hai ke be in self love and enjoy yourself and there is lot of other male attention coming my way and I enjoy that,'' the actress adds.

She added that being in a relationship should only happen if there's a strong bond. "Jab aapko lage ki ye insaan mera hath thaam sakta hai, that is the larger picture. Agar woh nahi hai toh bahut saare pyaare dost hai aas paas aur main khud hoon apne liye."

When talking more about marriage, Divya shared that she doesn’t really want to get married. "The best of every situation is that I think I don’t want to get married truly but I would love a companion if I do jiske sath main travel karu. But if not toh main toh abhi bahar se aayi hoon bahut mazze kar ke."

She also explained how her past experiences have shaped her thoughts. "Maine bahut galat hath pakde hain but that is how you learn, through trial and error. Main toh woh Yash Chopra and Karan Johar ki films wali, 'karwachauth' ye sab wali feeling rakhti thi lekin there comes a time where you know you look for completeness outside which is not necessary."

For the uninformed, Divya is a National Award-winning Indian actress and author. Some of her most praised performances have been in movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Veer-Zaara, Delhi-6, and Badlapur. She also won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Irada in 2018. Besides acting, she has also written a popular memoir titled Me and Ma, which talks about her close relationship with her mother.
