Legendary Helen returns to acting after a decade with Abhinay Deo's 'Brown'
The series will have the veteran playing an important role but not much else is known about the show or Helen's character.

It might be impossible to not hum the song, 'Ye Mera Dil' when anybody talks about or mentioned the name - Helen. The lady, who was one of the most iconic performers in the 60s, 70s and 80s going on is always remembered for her exhilarating dance sequences in multiple films.
And while she is always remembered as a performer, she even did some acting projects but it has been almost a decade since she last made an acting appearance. Now, the legend returned to doing what she loves to do and came back on sets to begin shooting for Abhinay Deo's upcoming web show, Brown.
The series will have the veteran playing an important role but not much else is known about the show or Helen's character. The show is also slated to star Karisma Kapoor in the lead. Brown was slated to go on the floor last year but the Omicron breakout pushed the shooting. Later, the schedule was further delayed when Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. Director Deo had to put the shooting on hold after his father Ramesh Deo passed away, recently.
Interestingly, Helen's decade-long ago acting appearance was with Heroine that starred Kareena Kapoor and now her return will be with her sister, Karisma Kapoor.
And when it comes elder Kapoor, she was last seen in the web show, Mentalhood which featured an ensemble cast.
