Kurbaan, no picnic...
Now that his latest project - Kurbaan - is complete and ready for release, Saif Ali Khan can breathe a sigh of relief as it means he won't have to go back to the US shoot which he terms as "cold and depressing".
Speaking not for himself but also for girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor, Saif recounts how difficult it was for them adjust to the locations and climate in Philadelphia where it would get dark as early as 4pm and temperatures would drop to minus 10 degrees. For the sake of continuity, the layers of clothes the actors bundled up in Philadelphia also had to be worn for the shoots they did in the summer of Mumbai.
Also it seems that Saif has taken a dislike to the tube where he was required to shoot a subway sequence - and standing in the 'underground prison' for hours on end as he termed it, was no picnic.
But ask him about his favourite shooting for a movie? It undoubtedly has to be Abbas-Mustan's Race. According to Saif the locations were nice, easy and comfortable. And what could be more entertaining to drive fast cars and play the hero?

Rensil D'Souza's film that also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Om Puri and Kirron Kher is set for release on November 20th.
