Kunal Bhatia and Gurpreet Bedi in Shapath!

Kunal Bhatia seems to be making a lot of noise in the industry these days!

While the actor currently shoots for Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and is gearing up for his next project, Hum on Star Plus, we now hear that the handsome man has bagged an episodic of Shapath too.

Kunal will essay the role of a super villan who with his extra ordinary powers will innovate machinery to destroy the world and create havoc amongst the people. Partnering him in crime would be popular model turned actor Gurpreet Bedi who will eventually use her powers to destroy him while the super cops will strive to find out the reason behind her actions.

We contacted Kunal who said, "Fireworks Productions has always been my favourite. Shapath is very popular among the kids and the youth so I am now set to take them by storm with my performance. I always like portraying varied roles. I have never essayed a super villain and so this one I add another feather in my cap!"

Gurpreet Bedi added, "Well, I am not interested in doing run of the mill shows. I am a big fan of Marvel comics. Even as a kid I used to dream of becoming a super hero and now I got a chance to don one. So I am elated to have this opportunity in my hands."
