Kriti Sanon's journey in the entertainment industry has skyrocketed since her debut alongside Tiger Shroff in "Heropanti" in 2014. The actress recently clinched the National Award for Best Actress for her outstanding performance in the 2021 film "Mimi," but her path to success was far from smooth sailing.

Reflecting on her earlier days in the world of modelling, before transitioning to acting, Kriti shared a candid moment in a recent interview with Curly Tales. She recounted her first ramp show, marred by a choreographer's harsh criticism as she struggled with the choreography.

She said that at her first ramp show, the choreographer she has never worked with her again, she was very rude to her because she messed up the choreography. Kriti recalled. "It was at some farmhouse and heels were getting stuck into the grass, and it was my first time. Terrible. I started crying because she was scolding me in front of 50 models and very rudely. I was holding it for long but I cry the moment someone shouts at me."

After making a move to Mumbai, Kriti juggled preparing for the GMAT exams while chasing her dreams in modelling and acting. Her journey led to her debut Telugu film, "1: Nenokkadine," alongside Mahesh Babu, and eventually, "Heropanti."

On the work front, Kriti is set to grace the silver screen in the action thriller "Ganpath" alongside Tiger Shroff and an untitled romantic film with Shahid Kapoor. Beyond her acting career, she has also ventured into production with "Do Patti" and recently stepped into the business world with her startup, "Hyphen."
