Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan play pranks on 'Dilwale' sets

Actors Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan, who are paired together for the first time in "Dilwale", bonded like a house on fire on the sets of their forthcoming film.

The duo brought in a wave of fun on the sets with their pranks and funny antics, read a statement.

They were known to play sweet pranks on cast and crew members and kept the energy high on the sets of the Rohit Shetty directorial, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Sharma.

"Both Kriti and Varun would not only plan and plot pranks to be played on their targets but would often even influence Shah Rukh and Kajol to join in their mischief," said a source.

"One day we all decided that we'll tell Varun Sharma that Kajol ma'am was upset with him as he hadn't wished her. Even Kajol ma'am and Shah sir agreed to play along. He became red while apologising to her and finally Kajol ma'am started laughing," the source added.

"Dilwale" promises to bring an action packed storyline with lots of twist and turns with romance, emotions and surprises embedded in the script.

The film will the hit the screens on December 18.
