Bobby Deol, who has recently enjoyed a career renaissance, will be the guest on an upcoming episode of "Koffee With Karan," along with his sibling Sunny Deol where he candidly discusses the challenging phase of his career and how he took back control of his life and work.

After experiencing a series of film flops and years of professional setbacks, Bobby Deol managed to revitalize his career with noteworthy roles in web series like 'Ashram' and 'Class of 83,' as well as films like 'Love Hostel.' His upcoming role as an antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' is already generating considerable buzz and is being touted as a highlight in his career.

During the show, Bobby Deol reflects on the low point in his career, sharing, "I gave up, I started pitying myself. I just took on drinking a lot, I was sitting at home. I used to keep cursing and saying, why don't people take me? I am good, why don't they want to work with me? I think I became so negative about everything, that there was no positiveness coming from me. I used to sit at home, my wife works."

However, what acted as a turning point for him was a comment from his son. He recalls, "Suddenly I heard my son saying, you know mom, papa sits at home and you go to work every day. Something snapped in me. I just said, no I can't! It was a slow process, and when I got out of it, it took me time to get into the right mindset to become okay. It can't happen overnight."

Throughout this challenging period, Bobby Deol received unwavering support from his family. He acknowledges the role his family played, saying, "My brother, my dad, my mom, my sisters, they were always there. You cannot always do anything holding someone’s hand. You have to walk on your two feet. Then things started changing. I became more focused, more serious, and when you focus and you have that energy in you."

The episode is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 2nd November.
