Karishma Sawant injures herself while shooting for a key scene on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Karishma Sawant who portrays the character of Aarohi in Star plus’s popular saga ‘Yeh rishta Kya kehlata hai’ has kept the audience intrigued with her performance in the show. The actress’s character keeps the audience on their toes, and as much as the actress receives backlash for being the third wheel between Abhimanyu and Akshara, the actress shares a pretty amazing rapport with her costars offscreen.

But we’ll speak about that some other day. As for today, India Forums will tell you how the actress injured herself and sprained her ankle during the shoot of her show. When we reached the sets of the show today, we found Karishma limping her way through the sets. That’s when we asked her about her injury and she revealed how she sprained her foot during the shoot of a key scene yesterday. Karishma said, “I was shooting for a scene yesterday on the stairs. When I had to get down, I somehow twisted my feet and when the scene was over, I yelled pretty bad. Everyone thought that was a part of the scene. But when they came to know I had actually hurt my feet, they came rushing to me and helped me.” 

Further talking about if the injury has been hampering her Shoot the actress said, “Not at all, I am In fact enjoying all the attention. As soon as the shot gets over, people come to me with a chair. Yes, I am in pain, but that has not hampered my work in anyway.”
