Kareena Kapoor's Income Tax (IT) account had been hacked in August. The actress had filed a complaint with the Mumbai police seeking the arrest of the hacker who had managed to get all her official details.

The investigations were on and finally after five months of thorough investigation, the Police officials were able to nab the culprit who hacked into the actress' account.

The accused, a 26-year-old boy has been identified as Manish Tiwari, a paramilitary trooper posted in Chhattisgarh.

Last August, he was scanning the internet to search for Kareena's mobile number. While he didn't get her contact details, he stumbled upon her PAN details. He then hacked into her income tax account and uploaded her declaration form for 2016-17.

Later, Kareena's chartered accountant (CA) Prakash Thakkar, found out that she had already filed the declaration. He then contacted Bebo and found out that she hasn't filed anything. That's when it got suspicious and they filed the complaint.

A team, led by joint commissioner of police (crime) Sanjay Saxena tracked down Tiwari to Chhattisgarh on Sunday and brought him to the city.
