Karan Patel in Mahesh Manjrekar's next..

After the news of Hussain entering Bollywood industry, another actor joins the league. This time its Robbie of Kasturi aka Karan Patel who is all set to try his hand in Hindi Cinema with Mahesh Manjrekar who has made highly acclaimed films like Vaastav.

Produced by Zee and directed by Mahesh, Karan will be seen as lead in the movie titled, City of Gold. When called Karan to know more details, he said “I can’t reveal much about the story as its too early to talk. All I can say is that the story is very realistic."

Karan will share screen space with veteran actors like Shivaji Shatam, Reema Lagoo, Sachin Khedekar who have earlier been cast in Mahesh Manjrekar's films. Chetan Hansraj will also be part of the flick.

Another buzz was that Karan will be leaving his show Kasturi as he has bagged this plump offer. To this, Karan says, “I’m very much part of the show and will be, till it ends”.

If sources are to be believed, Kasturi will bid adieu to its viewers early next year.
