Karan Mehra of 'Yeh Rishta...' fame honored by World Book of Records London

Actor Karan Mehra has been bestowed upon with a rare honor and one that will make one and all proud of him indeed. Mehra has been honored by the World Book of Records, London. In his latest social media post, Mehra shared a copy of the certificate while expressing gratitude for the same. As mentioned in the certificate, the actor has been recognised for his ‘relentless commitment’ to promoting safety against the pandemic, serving the society and prevention of coronavirus disease.

He posted the certificate on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Thankyou worldbookofrecords London for this honour”

Needless to say, Mehra's fans were delighted at his achievement and expressed their happiness about the same. Mehra is he second Indian television actor to have been awarded with a certificate by World Book Of Records London, recently. Some time back Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’s Vibhuti ji aka actor Aasif Sheikh was honoured for playing more than 300 different characters in his show.

In this past year, Mehra was in news for his controversial split from his wife, Nisha Rawal, where the latter Mehra accused him of domestic violence and an extramarital affair. He was arrested after the latter filed a complaint against him.
