Karan Johar pens a heartfelt note for mom Hiroo on her birthday: "The only person who I am still scared of…"

As one would remember, back in 2017, the filmmaker embraced parenthood, welcoming his twins via surrogacy and has been co-parenting them with his mother. Hiroo Johar. Karan Johar has always been all praises about his mom and shows utter respect towards her. 

After rearranging his mother's name to the credit sequences, he named his daughter Roohi. His late father, Yash Johar, inspired the name of his son.

Today as Hiroo Johar is marking her 80th birthday, KJo took to his Instagram handle and dropped a photo dump wishing his mom. He also penned a heartwarming note that will melt your heart right away. 

In the pictures, Hiroo and Karan are seen sitting by her birthday cake. The other images from the dump include a family picture of Karan Johar, Hiroo and his kids, Yash and Roohi, with balloons in the backdrop. It also included throwback pictures of Hiroo and baby Karan with his mom and his dad.

Karan's note read, "My brave and resilient mama turns 80 today…. She taught me how to love …how to stand for what I believe in … never apologise or justify myself if I was in the right… never pretend to be anyone I wasn’t …. She is as much my conscience as she is my fashion police …. Also the only person who i am still scared of… I love you mom to the planets and back …. I would never have been able to raise Roohi and Yash without you….. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #mymommyhero."

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Karan Johar recently wrapped up his directorial comeback project 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'.
