Karan Johar announces on-air date of 'Koffee With Karan' Season 7 with new promo

After all the wait and speculation, filmmaker Karan Johar has now officially confirmed the release date of the upcoming season of Koffee With Karan. The celebrity talk show's Season 7 is all set to be rolling at the soonest and it has now been confirmed that Koffee With Karan Season 7 will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on 7th July 2022.

Johar took to social media to announce the date of the premiere with a video that compiles moments from all the 6 seasons of the past. He captioned it, “Guess who's back? And this time with some hot piping brew! #HotstarSpecials#KoffeeWithKaran S7 starts 7th July only on Disney+ Hotstar!”-

Fans were quick to flood the comment section and leave no stone unturned in showing how desperately all of us have been waiting for the show. One of them wrote, “Thank u for the free therapy sessions,” while another commented, “Saajan ji ghar aye.. Saajan ji ghar aye.. hamper leke aye.. hamper leke aye.. Karan chi koffee… aiiyyyaaa @karanjohar yayayayayayaya … “

Meanwhile, fans had been eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to feature on the show. However, Karan has since revealed that Ranbir will not be appearing on the show.

Karan revealed what Ranbir said to him, “I am not coming on your show. He is like I have to pay the price for this for too long. Why should I do this to myself. He said, ‘I love you and I’ll meet you at your house and talk to you. You give me coffee at home. But please I am not coming for the show.”

'Karan, you can build public perception based on the performance on that couch,' the Brahmastra actor said to him, according to Karan. As per rumours, Ranveer and Alia will appear on the show together.
