Kapil Sharma reacts to news of Vivek Agnihotri's claims of not inviting him on the show

It was only yesterday when director Vivek Agnihotri's tweet about not being invited to The Kapil Sharma Show went viral. This led to backlash on the show and the main man, Kapil Sharma himself. In fact,

Boycott The Kapil Sharma Show has been trending on Twitter after Agnihotri alleged that the comedy show wasn't interested in their film as his film did not have popular stars. Now, Sharma has chosen to react to these claims.

When a fan asked if he got scared from promoting The Kashmir Files on his show, he replied, "Yeh sach nahi hai rathore sahab. Aapne puchha isliye bata diya, baaki jinhone sach maan liya unko explanation dene ka kya faayda. Just a suggestion as an experienced social media user:- never believe in one-sided story in today’s social media world, dhanyawaad (This is not the truth Rathore Sahab. You asked me so I told you. Can't give explanations to people who have accepted the truth)."

Helmed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Kashmir Files is based on the lives of Kashmiri Pandits and is inspired by true events. It stars Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty in the lead roles. When a fan requested Agnihotri to promote his upcoming film on The Kapil Sharma Show, he replied that he is nobody to decide if he can promote the film on the show.

The Kashmir Files is set for release tomorrow.

A movie which took 30 years to show the reality of a Genocide which was so huge & yet kept under wraps deserves Efforts from every citizen. They were Our People (all Indians). It's just sad to see these kind of non-responsive comments because you want to stick with a group who in reality aren't worthy enough.
