In a recent development, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again made headlines for her bold and unfiltered statements. This time, the actress reacted to a video clip from the third season of Karan Johar's popular chat show, Koffee With Karan. The episode featured celebrity guests Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.
The video clip in question shows Karan Johar posing a question to Sonam Kapoor during the rapid-fire round.
He asks, "If you have the power to give the following celebrities these aspects, who would you give the ability to speak English fluently?" Initially hesitant, Sonam replies, "I can't." However, after Karan pushes her for an answer, Sonam mentions Kangana Ranaut and compliments her fashion sense. Karan Johar completes her answer by adding, "With questionable English," to which Sonam nods in agreement.
The clip then cuts to Kangana's interview with Anupama Chopra, where she is asked about Sonam's comments regarding her English proficiency and whether such remarks hurt her as an outsider. Kangana, visibly upset, responds, "We do feel hurt. I am just a 24-year-old trying to do my own thing, and people criticize me and focus on my mistakes instead of my achievements. It does hurt me, and I am actively working on improving my language skills. It's not like I am not trying..."
Taking to her Instagram account, Kangana shared her reaction to the old clip and wrote, "What I have learned from years of fighting against the film mafia is that no outsider should ever be mocked for not speaking English...also, that show is officially closed forever...😊." She further added, "Please don't miss my comeback in the end. Even at 24, after being openly bullied, humiliated, and mocked, I showed grace, sophistication, articulation, and humility which English-speaking gossipy aunties with so-called great upbringing can never..."

Talking on her work front, she is all set to appear in the film "Tejas," scheduled to hit theaters on October 20. Additionally, Kangana has the film "Emergency," where she will portray the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. "Emergency" is slated for a theatrical release on November 24.
