Kangana Ranaut has been keeping up the hype surrounding her film Emergency, as she has been introducing the characters of the film at regular intervals on her social media handle.
Today, Kangana Ranaut, took to her Instagram handle and revealed actor Satish Kaushik's look from the upcoming movie Emergency. Satish will portray the late defense minister and freedom fighter Jagjivan Ram.
Sharing the poster Kangana wrote, “Last but not the least… Presenting the powerhouse of talent Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram in Emergency, popularly known as Babuji, he was one of the most revered politicians in the Indian political history.”
Satish also took to his socila media and shared his look from the film. He wrote in his caption, “Honoured to essay the role of Jagjivan Ram also known as Babuji, the most compassionate and the crusader of social justice in Kangana Ranaut directorial Emergency.”
Kangana portrays the late politician Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency, which centres on the incidents surrounding her life. The project is also being directed by Kangana. This is Kangana's first independent film to direct. Several characters from Emergency have already had their initial looks revealed by Kangana.
Anupam Kher will play Jayaprakash Narayan in the upcoming drama, while actor Shreyas Talpade will portray former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Mahima Chaudhry will be viewed as Indira Gandhi's confidante and cultural activist Pupul Jayakar. Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw will be played by actor Milind Soman.
The movie's dialogues and screenplay are written by Ritesh Shah. Emergency is a Manikarnika Films production that's been produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana.
