Kamal Haasan tests positive for COVID-19

Actor and legend Kamal Haasan has tested positive for COVID-19, he confirmed today and has also said that he has put himself in isolation in the hospital.

Haasan said that he had a mild cough after he returned from his recent trip to Chicago in the United States. “Please remind yourself that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet and be careful,” he tweeted.

Also taking to his social networking page, Haasan posted in Tamil, ehich translates to, "After returning from America, I had slight cough. Following a test it was confirmed that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have isolated myself in the hospital. Request everyone to be careful understanding that the speard of the virus hasn't stopped."

Looks like this unfortunate incident would postpone the fourth and final shooting schedule of 'Vikram', which valso stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.
