It is no secret anymore that the recently released Amazon Prime Video film, Shershaah has garnered a lot of love and appreciation from all directions. The viewers have given the film a huge thumbs-up and the fraternity have also not backed down from showering their praise on the film and the performances of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.
While any wish or compliment from anyone is always special, if the same is coming from a legend like Kamal Haasan, it means the world, we are certain. That is what happened recently, as the man and icon himself went on to hail the film and lauded the team as well.
Calling himself a ‘patriot’s son’, the actor said that he has always resented the way the Indian army was depicted in cinemas. The Vikram actor said that the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer was an exception, making his chest swell with pride.
“Right from my childhood as a film fan and a patriot’s son I resented the way Indian army was depicted in some of our Cinemas. Shershaah is that exception that makes my chest swell with pride for my soldiers,” Haasan tweeted.
He further added, “Thanks @DharmaMovies for promoting a talented director like @vishnu_dir. Congrats @SidMalhotra and @advani_kiara, excellent work.”
