Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas movie to release in Japan soon; here's a look at its global collections so far

Over the years, Prabhas, Ram Charan and Jr NTR have built a fan base overseas. RRR was a craze in Japan. Prabhas too has a big fandom in the nation. Salaar did quite well in the Far East Asian nation. We have seen visuals of how Japanese fans went crazy seeing SS Rajamouli there. Now, it seems Kalki 2898 AD will release in Japan in the next three months. There is a lot of hype around the international release of the movie in that market. Nag Ashwin had also made a trip to Japan some time back to plan the release of Kalki 2898 AD.

Kalki 2898 AD has been one of the biggest grossers for the Indian film industry. The film was made on a budget of Rs 616.2 crores, and it grossed Rs 1198.2 crores globally. Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most expensive movies ever made in India. These figures are reported by Variety.com. Given that Prabhas has a huge fan base in Japan, we can expect great numbers from there. Kalki 2898 AD did very well in North America too. It is one of the best markets for South Indian movies overseas.
