Kajol's rude behaviour with autistic fan: Upset netizens calls her, "terrible person"

A recent incident going viral on Reddit reminds me of a quote: All that glitters is not gold.

Kajol, known for her endearing on-screen persona, recently found herself embroiled in controversy when a fan shared an unpleasant encounter involving the actress. According to a Reddit post and as reported by Free Press Journal, a fan's brother, who happens to be autistic and works as a waiter at a high-end restaurant in Juhu, Mumbai, had a disappointing interaction with Kajol.

Reportedly, the fan recounted how her brother, a devoted Kajol admirer, was ecstatic to serve the actress and her friends at the restaurant. Despite usually handling backend duties due to his proficiency with numbers, he was given the opportunity to present the bill to Kajol's table after their dinner.

However, the fan's brother was left disheartened when Kajol reportedly responded dismissively to his heartfelt expression of admiration. Instead of acknowledging his sentiments with gratitude, Kajol allegedly chastised him for being emotional and complained to the manager about his employment at the restaurant.

The Reddit post sparked widespread disappointment and anger among netizens, with many expressing their dismay over Kajol's alleged behaviour. Some labelled her as the "rudest celebrity in the history of Bollywood," citing various negative encounters with her. One user commented saying, "What a terrible person. Remember Karma"

A user wrote, "She is nothing like the characters she has portrayed and has been loved for. Seen too many posts to like her anymore". While another one wrote, "Never meet your heroes, you'll get disappointed".

However, we are not sure about the timeline of the particular incident.

Amidst the controversy, Kajol's upcoming project, "Do Patti," where she stars alongside Kriti Sanon and Sarzameen, remains on the horizon.
