Kajol lauds the strength and support a warrior women adds to a battelfield as 'Tanhaji' marks 2 years

Bollywood's most favourite couple actors Ajay Devgn and Kajol's film 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' completed two years recently. 

The film was in fact the biggest blockbuster of 2020 before the box office was doomed by the coronavirus pandemic.

To celebrate the milestone, Kajol took to her Instagram handle to share a special video.

Sharing the video, the actress wrote, 

''Here's to the strength & support that the warrior's women brought to the battle field, here's to Savitribai and here's to #2YearsOfTanhaji''. 

As soon as she shared the post, Richa Chadha commented, ''You give everything gravitas ??''. Kajol's sister Tanishaa Mukerji dropped love in the comments section.

Earlier, Ajay Devgn, who played the titular role in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, had also shared a special video on social media. 

The video begins with Ajay Devgn as Tanhaji standing with a red flag. It also has a lot of iconic fighting scenes that will take you back in time. 

Sharing this video, Ajay wrote, “From script to screen to making history. Celebrating #2YearsOfTanhaji.”

Helmed by Om Raut, the film also starred Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar and Neha Sharma. 

Set in the 17th century, 'Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior' revolves around warrior Tanaji's attempts to recapture the Kondhana fortress once it passes onto Mughal emperor Aurangzeb who transfers its control to his trusted Rajput general Udaybhan Singh Rathore.

On the work front, Kajol had signed The Last Hurray, a Revathi directorial. 

While Ajay Devgn has a lot of exciting films lined up for his fans. He has Maidaan, Kaithi, Singham 3, Rudra and Maidaan. 

Talking about Runway 34, throughout the production of his upcoming movie, Devgn has been quite active on social media, sharing behind-the-scenes insights with his audience.
