The tragic suicide of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan on June 3, 2013, left the entire nation in shock. Jiah, who was only 25 years old at the time, hanged herself in her Mumbai residence. Her death was being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and now, almost ten years later, a verdict in the suicide case is expected to be announced by a special CBI court in Mumbai.
Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who has been accused of abetting Jiah's suicide, was seen leaving for the CBI court on Friday morning. He was decked in a green shirt and arrived at the court along with his mother, who were mobbed as they reached the court.
Pancholi was booked under section 306 (abetment to suicide) after a handwritten suicide note addressed to him was found in Jiah's apartment. Jiah's mother, Rabia Khan, had leveled serious allegations against Sooraj and even claimed that her daughter had been murdered.

The verdict in this case has been long-awaited, and it is hoped that justice will finally be served. The case has been closely followed by the media and has sparked debates on mental health, the pressure of the entertainment industry, and the need for justice for victims of domestic violence.
Jiah Khan was a rising star in Bollywood, having acted in movies such as "Ghajini" and "Nishabd." Her untimely death shocked the industry, and her fans mourned her loss. The case has also shed light on the issue of mental health in the entertainment industry. Many actors and actresses have spoken out about the pressure and scrutiny they face, which can take a toll on their mental health.
