Sony Tv's upcoming mega venture, 'Beyhadh' keeps on raising the excitement levels with every passing day and one of the important reasons for the same is the delay that has occurred with the show.

And in the most perfect way of strategies, the channel has been providing us with chills and thrills launching several promos. The latest one was the riveting Ganesh festival promo which certainly gave one and all, goosebumps.

And now, we present another SURPRISING promo which will leave you AWESTRUCK..

But before that, we went down the vault and had a look at 5 times when female characters WOWED us with their on-screen obsessive avatars in Bollywood.

Sridevi in 'Laadla'

What starts off as a headstrong factory owner (Sridevi) totally despising a union leader (Anil Kapoor) and ends up marrying him for revenge actually starts loving him so much that she becomes obsessive about him, when a beautiful girl (Raveena Tandon) and the leader fall in love with each other.

Preity Zinta in 'Armaan'

The usual bubbly girl, Preity Zinta went for a total image-shift with 'Armaan', where she played a rich and arrogant woman, Sonia, who falls in love with Akash (Anil Kapoor) and wants him only for herself, becoming a problem for Akash and Dr. Neha Mathur (Gracy Singh).

Kajol in 'Gupt'

Kajol absolutely changed the way one watches an actress in a Bollywood film back in the 90s. Not only was Gupt a staggering success, courtesy Kajol's acting prowess, she played the perfectly creepy and obsessive lover, Isha who literally DOES ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to obtain Sahil (Bobby Deol).

Urmila Matondkar in 'Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya'

While Kajol revolutionized the way of playing a female obsessive lover, Urmila became a star with her portrayal of Ria in the film, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya'. Ria showed us to what extent will a lover go to not allowing anyone else to come near her love, Jai (Fardeen Khan).

Priyanka Chopra in 'Aitraaz'

If Urmila was a star in 'Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya', Priyanka Chopra took over the mantle from Urmila and Kajol and EXCELLED at it with absolute brilliance. Playing a selfish, arrogant and manipulative lady, Sonia (Priyanka Chopra) who gets obsessed to re-gain the love of her life, Raj (Akshay Kumar), Priyanka became probably the most loved female villain of all times.

While, we cherish these iconic grey shaded female characters, we cannot wait to watch Jennifer Winget play an obsessive lover with Beyhadh'.
