Janhvi - Ishaan's 'Dhadak' marks the HIGHEST OPENING for newcomers

Dhadak, which is one of the most anticipated films of 2018 finally released yesterday. There was a lot of buzz around the film ever since its inception as the film stars debutant Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar in the lead roles. If you noticed, they left no stone unturned to promote their debut film.

Dhadak, an adaptation of Marathi hit film 'Sairat' is been appreciated by the audiences.  The wait to watch Ishaan and Janhvi on the big screen is over and they are already receiving love from all over for their portrayal of Madhukar Bagla and Parthavi Singh in the film.

Now, Dhadak had a successful opening day at the box office. The film collected 8.71 crores on its first day at the box-office. This opening day collection of Dhadak is highest for a film lead by fresh faces, beating Student of the Year, which collected approximately 8 crores on its first day.

The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios.
