Jamai Raja actress bags another show!

The noted actress, who is currently seen on Jamai Raja, will now be essaying the role of Dadi Saas aka Diwadi Ben in her next show!

BIG Magic's shows have been quite successful when it comes to striking the right balance between the entertainment quotient and experimentation. One such show is Naya Mahisagar, a family drama depicting the quintessential Saas-Bahu' relationship in the most enjoyable way. 

The characters have struck an emotional chord with the viewers, be it the bubbly daughter-in-law Mahi or the savvy politician mother-in-law Anusuya or the affable Dadi Saas. Apara Mehta, who has been a household name for years has created a deep connect with her fans, playing myriads of characters in a number of serials.

Speaking about her new character, Apara Mehta said, "I am delighted to be a part of BIG Magic's Naya Mahisagar. The show has managed to strike an emotional chord with audiences and I am glad to be a part of such a show. I am playing the character of Dadi Saas' who is a spirit in the show but has a very strong hold on her family. The character is something new to me and I am really excited to see the viewers reaction on my new avatar."
