'Jacqueline was so.., Akshay Kumar use to..': Soundarya Sharma reveals about her experience on Housefull 5 set

Soundarya Sharma, who rose to fame with Bigg Boss 16, is once again in the spotlight, this time for her role in Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 5. While the film is already generating buzz, Soundarya’s character and her experience on set have also caught people’s attention.

Opening up about working with big names like Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and others, Soundarya, speaking to the Free Press Journal shared what it was like stepping into such a massive production as a newcomer.

Ask her about Akshay Kumar playing pranks on her and the actress says, "I was the only one subjected to most of the pranks. But it was all fun. We used to play a lot, it was like a picnic." Soundarya fondly compares being on the Housefull 5 set to a picnic, full of laughs and good vibes.

Talking about her time with her female co-stars, she said it was a memorable experience. The Bigg Boss 16 alum calls it a 'fantabulous' time and adds, "We all used to be there together in scenes, so the equation had to be good. Everyone has to be on the set always."

When asked about the common notion that 'actresses can never be friends,' Soundarya disagrees. "I don't know where all these things have come, I have not experienced it," she says.

Since many of her co-stars have been in the industry much longer, Soundarya admits she did feel nervous at times. "Everyone is so senior to me, so if I used to get nervous before a shot, everybody would calm me down. We are great friends; we used to eat together, go for walks, and hang out together. Everybody was a sweetheart."

She also shares warm moments with her co-stars off-camera. "Jacqueline was so supportive, and Nargis and I cracked jokes all the time," says the Housefull 5 actress.
