Is Shraddha Kapoor to come on board for Nani's Odela 2?

Natural Star Nani achieved massive success with the rural action drama ‘Dasara’, helmed by Srikanth Odela, which became the biggest hit in his film career. Following the success of ‘Dasara’, the actor-director duo have reunited for another exciting project, also set in a rural backdrop.

Tentatively titled ‘NaniOdela 2’, the film was recently launched with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. Earlier, rumors circulated that Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor, who made her debut in Tollywood with ‘Devara’, is set to pair opposite Nani in this film. However, nothing has been finalized. The recent speculations reveal that another Bollywood actress is on the cards for this upcoming film.

Shraddha Kapoor, who is currently basking in the success of ‘Stree 2’, is said to be under consideration for the role. If these rumors are true, it will mark her second film in Telugu cinemas, following her appearance in ‘Saaho’ alongside Prabhas.

The producers of Dasara, Sudhakar Cherukuri of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, will also be producing this flick, with Anirudh Ravichander to compose the musical tunes. However, the official confirmation from the film team is expected soon.

On the work front, Nani was recently seen in ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’, directed by Vivek Athreya. The film grossed Rs. 100 crores at the box office.
