Is Arjun Kapoor regretting his decision to skip Kapil Dev's biopic?

Apparently, Arjun Kapoor is regretting to have said no for Kapil Dev's biopic. Earlier before Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor was said to be the first choice for the makers.

According to the sources, Arjun rejected the film as he thought to take Namastey Canada a comedy film along with Parineeti Chopra. Well, he was interested to play Kapil on screen but, it is said to have that the actor was in two minds. As he thought that the film would have many other actors with which he would not have been able to give more of him to the audiences due to which he thought to go with "Namastey Canada."

The biopic will be directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan. While the sources also say that Arjun rejected the film due to date issues that's when the makers approached Ranveer and got him on board. Now that there has been a lot of buzz about the film with his "Gunday" co-star Ranveer Singh taking the lead the actor is said to be regretting the much talked about film.

However, now that Ranveer will be seen portraying the role it will be interesting to see how he mellow downs his energy to step into the shoes of the calm and composed legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
