Irrfan reveals the reason he interviewed politicians

'Madaari' has a hard hitting message to it and caters to each section of the society. Irrfan was seen going all out to promote his film across all platforms.

The highly acclaimed actor, was seen interviewing some of the top politicians of the country in relation to the movie, which revolves around the problems in the system. When asked why had Irrfan interviewed these leaders of the country he was quoted saying, "The motto behind interviewing politicians was to question them regarding who is running the system, the duties and contribution of a common man. It was not an interview but a discussion."

Well that surely was a fresh approach. It it time that the nation does get some answers from the system for the way they have been working. 

'Madaari' released on 22nd July, stars Irrfan Khan, Jimmy Shergill and is directed by Nishikant Kamat.
