If this show brings out even a fraction of change in the society, its a win

When we saw the trailer of Alt Balaji's PM Selfiewallie, the first thought that came to our mind was that Ekta continued to up her  quality of content. PM Selfiewallie is a chick-flick, rom-com and a political satire all in one, says actress Nityami Shirke, who plays the lead role of Tanya in the show.

In a freewheeling chat, Nityami who is ecstatic about the response that she has been receiving tells us that the response to her web series has been extremely positive.

But what about the negative parts/ negative response that she has received, considering that the show takes digs at certain sections of politics? A cheery Nityami says, "People will always take offense. You must take the good along with the bad."

Nityami comes across as a completely opposite person in real life. She confesses that she is not a fashionista and that even though she is not huge on politics, she is aware of the current affairs and does have an opinion on certain issues in the society.

When we quiz her if she intends to bring about a change in the society with her character, Nityami replied, "If my show brings about even a fraction of change in the society, it will be a win for us."
