I will never be able to thank Rajan Shahi enough, even if I ain't a part of the show in future: Rupali Ganguly

With Star Plus' show Anupamaa ruling the TRP charts, Rupali Ganguly has gone ahead to be a household name. Rupali is not just the showrunner but also one of the primary reasons why fans are hooked to it, she shares an emotional perspective on playing Anupamaa and expresses her heartfelt gratitude to producer Rajan Shahi.

In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Rupali Ganguly, along with Rajan Shahi and his mother Deepa Shahi, discussed the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on the show. During this conversation, Rupali became a bit emotional and mentioned that she wouldn't mind even being a 'furniture' on the show if the storyline required it. She said, "Bappa has always fulfilled all my wishes. He has blessed me with so many angels, one is standing right next to me (gesturing towards Rajan Shahi). I cannot express what he has done for me; he has taken me to new heights. I will never be able to thank him enough for the rest of my life, even if I am no longer a part of the show in the future. Agar mujhe furniture bana ke bhi rakhenge tab bhi main khadi rahungi peeche khushi khushi, jab tak Rajan Shahi ji chahenge tab tak main yaha khadi rahungi. But if he feels the story can continue without us, I will be okay. Regardless, he has given us such a significant opportunity, and the respect and love I have for him cannot be put into words."

The current storyline of the show revolves around Anupamaa revealing to Anuj that Malti Devi is his biological mother.
