I want to get a break as an anchor - Roop Durgapal

Hailing from a small town Almora in Uttar Pradesh, the sweet looking Roop Durgapal has been a part of quite a few popular shows like Baal Veer, Akbar Birbal and Balika Vadhu.

 

Today, let us get to know more about Roop's personal interests in a candid chat with Tellybuzz.

 

 

Balika Vadhu is the best thing that happened to me so far. It got me all the recognition, fans, followers and lots of love along with admiration. This show has given me a platform to showcase my skill by playing several shades in 2 and a half years of my journey.

 

Ohh yes. Baal Veer was absolutely fun and was totally different from what I did in Balika Vadhu. The kids were cooperative and super fun. We used to play games off-screen too!

 

 

I am currently auditioning and also working on myself. I enjoy travelling too. I have Aquaphobia so I learnt swimming to over come my fear and also made it a part of my workout regime. I love singing but had no professional training, so these days i am learning Hindustani classical music from a vocalist.

 

Apart from this, I am learning the Taanpura. Infact I recently performed for a live musical show for the first time!

 

 

I am open to experimenting with genres and would love to love to play a role which would convey a social message. Also, I want to get a break into anchoring shows like Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India.
