Sidharth Shukla was the 'bakra' of the day on the sets of Ratna Sinha's Babul Ka Angann Chootey Na.
As the marriage sequence takes off in the show, the six-feet two inches tall Siddharth had to dress up as a woman, and sneak into the Mehendi ceremony as a Mehendiwali, as he had promised his to-be-wife, Aastha that he will kiss her once before marriage!

It was surely a funny situation to be in for the model-turned actor, but the whole incident not only got hilarious on screen, but also on the sets, as the cast and crew pulled the actor’s legs by terming him as ‘beautiful’ and ‘sexy’ in this get-up..
We tried to catch up with the man of the hour, Sidharth Shukla, who immediately says, “I salute women for wearing heavy dresses”. Talking about his attire for the day, the actor states, “I was wearing a long ghagra, and it was too difficult for me to move around in that. Everyone couldn’t stop laughing at the way I was on the set. I could neither sit nor stand. The ghagra completely weighed me down. Everyone on the set from the mother to my bhabhie played pranks on me beyond limit. I even had to talk like a woman in the scene, and the minute I began saying my dialogues, everyone would just burst out into laughter”.
On the story line, Siddharth stated, “They are currently showing the marriage track, though I can’t reveal more than that as of now.”
Well, all's in the game, Sidharth!!
