As Drishyam 2 continues to roar on the box office and is one success story to remember, the film has turned out to be a platform of several actors to gain notice as well. The film has legendary actors like Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna and Tabu sharing screen space but inspite of short roles, the likes of actors Neha Joshi and Shiv Kulkarni gained special notice.

They played the roles of Jenny and Shiv respectively, who are shown to be the neighbors of Salgaonkar family but are actually undercover cops. In an exclusive conversation with us, we asked the lady multiple questions which included her experience of working with the legends and some anecdotes from the set while shooting.

When asked about her experience on working with Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu & Shriya Saran, she said, "It was such phenomenal learning experience working with such legendary actors. I remember when Ajay Sir came on set for the first time initially, I was under the pressure of performing with a star. However, when he came on set, he had a very light and cool vibe and once we started rehearsing the scene there was no pressure at all. It was all thanks to him that he made it very comfortable for everyone."

She added, "In fact, everyone was so nice. They all would rehearse the scene with me and read the script with me. Even if I raised from queries around the scene nobody would get irritated. Everyone was very patient and warm on set. They treated me like just another co actor which I felt was extremely professional and respectful. It’s because of all of them that I could perform the way I did in the film and of course my director, Abhishek."

Later, she said, "I did my first scene with Shriya. I remember she was so nice to me and immediately after the scene she came up to me and told me that I was good and I performed very well. It was a huge compliment for me and I was so comfortable."

When asked to share anecdotes from the set, she said, "I remember my first scene with Akshaye Sir, we were reading and rehearsing the scene and suddenly he gave a reaction that wasn’t a part of the script. Soon after, he looked and me and said, ‘Kyun Jenny?’ It was such a moment for me coming from a star and I nodded. However, as I think back to that moment, perhaps it was only him interacting with me to make me comfortable before the shot or the fact that Jenny was a part of his character’s team since the longest. Either way, this little interaction really stayed with me and made the difference when we performed the scene."

She concluded, "When Shiv and Jenny had their wrap up that was also a very touching moment. I remember we were standing in the centre and the whole unit was in a circle around us when our director announced that it was a wrap for Jenny and Shiv. At that time, Tabu Ma'am came to me gave me a warm hug and said that I had performed very well and it was nice to meet me. Shriya too came and said that it was so much fun together as we bonded really well given that we had a lot of scenes together. Abhishek our director too came up to me and said, ‘Good job!’ So, it was a memorable yet emotional moment for me as at that time I knew that I was bidding adieu to Jenny."

Drishyam 2 is currently the third highest-grossing Hindi film of the year after The Kashmir Files and has managed to attain a lot of love.
