Disney+ Hotstar today released exclusive BTS footage with IMDb from the latest Hotstar Specials’ The Night Manager. A Hindi-language adaptation of John le Carré’s novel “The Night Manager”, produced by The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia, is created and directed by Sandeep Modi and second director Priyanka Ghose. The show stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Tillotama Shome in pivotal roles.
In the video, Simon Cornwell and Tessa Inkelaar can be seen talking about their approach to the show. They said how it was challenging to Indianise the characters. They further talked about Anil Kapoor, Aditya, Sobhita, and Shome and how they were great actors who proved their mettle to get into the shoes of their respective characters.
The video reveals how the cast for the Indian adaptation came together, how that worked for the audiences, and also how the show retained the spirit of the original story.
