Housefull 5 promotions get a twist as Akshay Kumar masks up in public

Akshay Kumar recently chose an unusual route to gauge audience feedback on his film Housefull 5. The actor showed up at a Bandra theatre wearing a villain-style mask and mingled with moviegoers as they stepped out of the show. His goal? To catch their raw, unfiltered reactions to the film.

In a video shared on Instagram, Akshay is seen walking up to fans outside the theatre, casually asking them for reviews while trying to stay incognito. Some fans enthusiastically shared their thoughts, with responses ranging from “Achi hai movie” to “Sahi hai movie.” Others just smiled, unaware that the person behind the mask was the film’s lead actor himself.

The video was captioned, “Bas yun hi I decided to wear the killer mask and interview people coming out of the Housefull 5 show at Bandra today.” However, not everyone was fooled. A few fans started sensing something familiar and began questioning his identity, prompting Akshay to make a quick exit. He added in the caption, “Pakda jaane wala thaa end mein but bhaag gaya us se pehle. Mast experience (I was about to get caught but ran away just in time. What a fun experience).”

Currently playing in cinemas, Housefull 5 stars Akshay Kumar alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh.
