While giving a lecture at JNU Ravi Shankar said, "This is your tendency now...know that this tendency is not a permanent thing. It may change. I've seen many men who were gay later turn into heterosexuals, and there are those who are normal, who are called straight people, end up being gay later in life."
As Sonam Kapoor has always been very vocal about thoughts and always like to put her stand once again by slamming him on his comment on homosexuality, Sonam Kapoor wrote on Twitter, "WTF is wrong with godmen, if you want to learn something about Hinduism and culture it's better to follow @HindolSengupta & @devduttmyth," (Sic)
In her next tweets Sonam said, Homosexuality is not a 'tendency' and is normal. "Homosexuality is not a 'tendency' it's something you are born as and is absolutely NORMAL. To tell someone you can change is irresponsible," (Sic)
Agreeing with the thoughts of Sonam, Alia Bhatt too retweeted her second tweet.
